Stage 2 of projekt 47 with two new buildings is in preparation. In stage 1 two 5-storey laboratory and office buildings and a car park have been constructed on the site between Hegenheimermattweg, Kreuzstrasse and Kiesstrasse in Allschwil.

The new buildings A2 and B2 will have 11’700 m² of office and laboratory space and the existing car park will be extended.

The realisation of the buildings is divided into the basic construction (core & shell) and tenants’ finish. The division between laboratory and office will be defined by the tenants’ finish, and will therefore be designed and implemented to meet the requirements and technical needs of each individual user.

Access to the new buildings is on the one hand from Hegenheimermattweg, where is a bus stop, through the outdoor space to the entrances of each building and on the other hand from Kreuzstrasse, where is space for visitors’ car park, bicycles and acces to the car park for collaborators in the basement.

If required in stage 2, we have the possibility to realize in the outdoor space between the buildings, a 2-storey building “the mall” linking all the buildings.

The buildings A1 and B1 of the first stage are used by Solvay Pharmaceuticals Marketing & Licensing AG (offices) and Polyphor Ltd (labs / offices). This has created more than 200 high-quality workplaces in the “innovationspark allschwil – basel”.
